DSC_2250yes_FotorHello, lovelies! Thank you for joining me again. On “My First Time,” I share my experiences with retailers and brands that are new to me. Today, I’m showing you my sparkly purchases from BaubleBar. I first became aware of them when Mindy Kaling shared some Baublebar bling on her Instagram. (Shop the Salvador Perez Collection Exclusively at BaubleBar – Costume designer of The Mindy Project and Pitch Perfect 2!) I didn’t stop by the site until last week when I saw BaubleBar guest bartender, Emma Roberts wearing the Rainbow Frank Collar on the Today Show. I went online and looked at Emma’s collection and fell in love with all the sparkly things! (Shop the Emma Roberts Guest Bartender Collection from BaubleBar! New Styles Just Added!)

Well, hello to you, too. You don't look so bad yourself...

Well, hello to you, too. You don’t look so bad yourself…

With Black Friday and Cyber Monday creeping up on us all, BAUBLEBAR is a great place to find that little something extra for your holiday outfit or to get the perfect gift for the glamour girl on your list! I got giddy when my order arrived in shiny boxes, and each set of baubles had a storage bag and care instructions.

The necklace I picked isn’t very different from the one Emma wore. The Rainbow Brite Bib is also a many-colored twinkling statement piece and is part of her collection.

You don’t have to have pierced ears to rock the two piece Tinkerbell Ear Cuff. I was lucky enough to snag it before it was wait-listed. You can clip the separate parts in a variety of ways: one on each lobe, stacked on the same ear, or staggered on each ear, like I’m wearing them here. Tip: don’t wear the smaller clip too high on your ear or on the hardest part of your cartilage. It kinda hurts. Wearing it mid-ear felt just right for me.

Here are some of the little pretties on my BAUBLEBAR want list:

Awww! Thank you 🙂 Yes, I’ll probably wear the red skirt just to hang out around the house. Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!

Hi! I just wanted to let you know I read your last blog post – sorry I can’t comment there! I gotta get back on Tumblr. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you I love your outfits, and I think you should keep posting! Anyone who gives you any negativity about it, family or otherwise, really just wishes they could pursue an interest as bravely as you do. You’re amazing, and you give me confidence that I can keep doing this, too. -xo-Becca

Becca, thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement! It really means a lot to me. I definitely plan to go back to posting (although maybe not every single day), but I’m taking this week off to clear my head. Reading blogs like yours really helps — the community of plus-size style bloggers is so supportive and just plain awesome!! 🙂
