Looks like we made it! We’ve reached the final day, and Outfit #3, of the second week in my November Triple Take. I’ve been styling the skirt above from Torrid in different ways perfect for a fall wardrobe.
For the week’s first outfit, I went retro by adding a peplum top, and on Day 2, I opted for a classic style with minimal accessories. Today, I’m getting extra mileage from a summer top:
Crop tops aren’t just for warm weather! For this look, I was inspired by Tanesha from the blog, Girl With Curves. In her post, “Cropped,” she layers a crop top over a classic white shirt to create a more conservative look. Since my top is a solid color, I decided to layer it over a blouse with a fun print and interesting collar.
I also chose to tuck my sheer blouse into my skirt because their patterns clashed when layered together. One of my favorite parts of this skater skirt is the waist, which can be worn lower or higher depending on the look you’re trying to achieve. I can show a bit of belly when it’s warm (like I did here) or keep it under wraps when the weather gets cooler.
