Happy Friday, everyone! As you may have noticed, I don’t show my nails very much on the blog. That’s because first and foremost, I am a nervous nail-biter and have been since I was a little kid. Also, I can’t paint my nails to save my life, and more polish ends up on my fingers than on my nails. How about a manicure? Whenever I get an acrylic set, I immediately want to rip them off, which isn’t too pleasant.
I’ve recently rejoined the world of Facebook and reconnected with some high school friends who now sell Jamberry nail wraps. My awesome marching band buddy, Jessica, sent me a mani-pedi set to try out!
Of course, I picked a design with polka dots–and the little roses are super cute, too! They have tons of designs to choose, including some with sparkle, French tips, and hip matte styles.
I was a bit worried that I wouldn’t be able to put them on just right or that I’d mess up the set before I’d get a chance to wear them, but they couldn’t be easier to apply. All the tools you need are a hair dryer to warm the adhesive on the wraps, a pair of cuticle scissors to trim the wraps to size, and a nail file. The only issue I had was the largest wrap wasn’t quite big enough for my largest toes, but I centered them, and they don’t look bad at all. I even had some wraps left over, which would be cute to mix and match with some of their solid-colored sets. Statement nail, perhaps?
The wraps are pretty sturdy, too. I’m writing this about three days after taking these pictures, and they still look as good as day one. I’m thinking of getting a few sets for the holidays, some for me and some for gifts. Jamberry has a buy 3, get 1 free deal, so it’s a good idea to stock up!
Thanks to Jessica for sending me these great wraps and rescuing my nails from obscurity! Both she and my friends, Kiley and Kara, are Jamberry consultants, and I have links to their sites below. Thanks for reading, and see ya next time!
