full2editreduxMy new hairdo definitely inspired today’s outfit. I’m feeling a little ’60s, but as always I try to put a modern spin on my retro looks. I resurrected one of the tops I wore earlier in the challenge, this time wearing it untucked and swingy over some slim, stretchy pants.

closeupeditredux’60s mod has always been a fashion inspiration for me. I remember one school spirit day when we had the choice to dress either from the ’50s or ’60s. There were plenty of girls in poodle skirts as well as flower children, but I was the only one in an a-line dress and black Mary Janes. My inverted bob haircut always seems to reappear every couple of years when long hair gets to be bothersome. Lately, other decades have happily worked their way into my style, but ’60s style always feels just right!
